As a member of the WellPoint Health Action Network,www.healthactionnetwork.com, I am writing to encourage you to join as well. The U.S. needs a strong, sustainable health care system. As a nation, we must take thoughtful steps that preserve what is best about American health care, while also working to extend coverage to the uninsured. Through the Health Action Network, I am able to stay informed about the ongoing public policy discussions on health care. The organization’s website also provides tools that make it easy for me to communicate with elected officials about health care issues. There is no cost to join and participate.
